GREENWOOD, LA | 2015 Cadillac SRXMarch 21, 2020Headlamps on 2015 SRX dim to non-existent. Replaced only after a GM defect letter receipted. This should have addressed much sooner, without having to pay up-front and file paperwork to be reimbursed. Safety should have been priority. MELBOURNE, FL | 2017 Cadillac XT5March 21, 2020We had to come to your dealership, because when were driving on I 20 , all of a sudden cruise control was turned off and few signs were on the dash board, like, ABS break, Stabiltrack, Transmission, Service soon etc. Our Service manager was Shelby Harper. After waiting for two hours, we were told that they need to order a SENSOR and that it will be delivered next day morning at 9.am. We were told to go to the Hotel and come back next morning. Next morning, we were told that car is serviced and were given the paperwork to submit it to my local dealer for reimbursement. We were on road on I 20 and 400 odd miles later, the Sensor light came again. We had to stop and did read the paperwork. In that, it said that car was serviced but not a mention of changing the Sensor!! So, I called and talked to Shelby and asked her about the changing of the sensor. She checked with her Manager and told me that the Sensor that came was a WRONG ONE, so the current sensor was adjusted ! That was shocking to me. I am a single widowed person driving with a friend. Two days of our trip were lost! We did not go to another dealer and cut short our trip and came home asap. After coming home, I went to the dealer in town where I bought the Cadillac on March 18th, to let them know of the Sensor problem and submit the expenses. Service manager ROY, said they DO NOT handle this and told me that ORR Cadillac should have submitted the expense report to General Motors. I told him that I bought the Cadillac from this dealership and I was told fro ORR Cadillac that my local dealer will handle it!!! With a lot of reluctance, he accepted the papers and said he will call me next day after talking to the office person named Debby. Nobody has called me so far!! My Late husband Chan Patel was a Retired General Motors Salaried employee. He leased Cadillac for me and said that it is a Cadillac and it is a most reliable and top luxury car! After this Experience, I have LOST an interest in General Motors Products. I myself is not convinced about the service and product from GM, how can I tell my friends to buy GM car in general and Cadillac in particular. I am a very Dissatisfied Customer. I did not imagine that this matter will be handled so poorly by a Cadillac Dealer! I hope something will be done about this matter.
